I've been reading children's books across decades of time. To myself, to my siblings, my children and grandchildren. There are so many ways to tell a story and so many stories to be told. The books I write are my attempt to tell a story that resonates across common experiences for children around the world and across time.
Stories are meant to be shared. Every time we read a book to ourselves or someone else, our perspectives are broadened and our experiences enhanced. Thank you to all of you who are still out there turning the pages!
I grew up in the military, a lifestyle that moved me around the nation and the globe. I was a child in many different environments. The constant relocation and new scenes helped to shape how I think about the power of one experience.
